Solar Domestic Hot Water Project at Woburn Housing Authority 
A solar domestic hot water installation was completed in July and August 2011 at the Woburn Housing Authority and this photo shows the rooftop solar collector array. The renewable energy generated at this 100 unit senior housing facility is expected to result in a 50% reduction in the building’s domestic hot water bills. The project was funded through a U.S. Department of Energy SERC Grant administered by the MA Department of Housing and Community Development and with funds from the Mass Clean Energy Center.
