Per M.G.L. Chapter 23A and 402 CMR 2.00, active Economic Development Incentive Program (EDIP) projects are required to submit an annual report to the EACC and to the municipality in which the project is located. The EACC reviews each project for compliance with job creation and retention, private investment goals and if applicable, investment tax credit utilization.
Please note that failure to submit the annual report to the EACC is grounds for project decertification which may result in the revocation and potential recapture of state and local tax benefits.
For projects certified before January 1, 2010: Please report on the company's fiscal year (July 1st-June 30th) progress using our Electronic File Annual Reporting System. The annual reporting period is currently closed, however we will be sending a notification to the appropriate parties when the reporting period becomes active in mid-August. For projects certified after January 1, 2010: Please report on the company's calendar year (January 1st-December 31st) progress using our Electronic File Annual Reporting System. The annual reporting period is currently closed and we are not accepting reports at this time.
For municipalities with active EDIP projects: Municipalities with active or recently active EDIP Projects are able to review the annual reports filed by projects within the community using a Municipal Login to the Electronic File Annual Reporting System.
