Follow these steps to apply to the 2012 MassWorks Infrastructure Program:

1. Review the 2012 MassWorks documentation, including the program guidelines, the scoring guide and the hard copy 2012 application.
2. If you would like to apply, register in the online application system. Instructions are available in this Manual. In addition, an instructional video will be posted.
3. Complete the online application. Guidance is available in this Manual. In addition, an instructional video will be posted.
4. Submit the application between August 27 and September 10, 2012 using the online application tool.

Step 1: Review the 2012 MassWorks documentation

• 2012 MassWorks Scoring Guide for Economic Development and Job Creation and Retention 
  • This document provides an overview of the criteria used to score an Economic Development and Job Creation and Retention application that is submitted in the 2012 MassWorks Infrastructure Round
• 2012 MassWorks Scoring Guide for Housing Development at a Density of at Least 4 Units to the Acre (both market and affordable)  
  •  This document provides an overview of the criteria used to score a Housing development at a density of at least 4 units to the acre application that is submitted in the 2012 MassWorks Infrastructure Round.
• 2012 MassWorks Scoring for Transportation Improvements to Enhance Safety in Small, Rural Communities (of less than 7,000 people)  
  • This document provides an overview of the criteria used to score a Transportation improvements application that is submitted in the 2012 MassWorks Infrastructure Round.

  • This document provides an overview of the questions in the 2012 MassWorks Infrastructure Program Application. All MassWorks Applications must be filed electronically through the online application tool.

Step 2: Register in the online application system –

Step 3: Complete the online application – 

• The 2012 MassWorks Application Round is closed, please check back in June 2013 for next years round.

Step 4: Submit the application 

• A “submit” button will appear in the “change status” page of the online application tool. Please check back in June 2013 for 2013 Submission Dates.
