• Support for Massachusetts’ municipalities and regional economies is critical to driving the state’s continued economic success. Massachusetts’ cities, towns, and regions are home to a diversity of new and established industries, institutions, and amenities that expand the state’s competitive advantage as an end-to-end location for innovation, production, and services. However, the state’s potential will only be fully tapped when the appropriate infrastructure and an economic partnership—that extends from municipalities and regions to the state—is in place. By working with local municipal and regional leaders to ensure that they have the means to attract and encourage business investment and job creation, we will facilitate regional growth in an integrated, sustainable way.
