Expert Panel on Performance Measurement

On July 15, 2009, the Health Care Quality and Cost Council approved the creation of an Expert Panel on Performance Measurement. The Goals of the Expert Panel are to identify measures that will be used to enhance the Council's ability to post measures on the consumer website, track progress in improving health care quality across the entire system, and inform providers and policy makers. The Expert Panel will make on going consensus recommendations on health system performance measurement to the Council. The Expert Panel will consist of members who have expertise in performance measurement and who can advise on the selection of important and valid measures.
