A Summit for Government Agencies, Caregiver Organizations, Family Members, and Community Leaders
- Join Massachusetts state agencies, providers and families to:
- Learn about the Federal Lifespan Respite Law of 2006
- Discuss models of collaborative respite provision
- Develop plans for the building of a Statewide Respite Coalition
- Guest Speaker: Jill Kagan, MPH, Project Director, ARCH National Respite Network and Resource Center
- This is a WORKING meeting to:
- Identify the needs of Massachusetts families for respite
- Delineate barriers and solutions to statewide respite
- Develop a mission statement and goals for a Statewide Respite Coalition
- Establish Massachusetts' readiness to apply for federal Lifespan Respite Care funding in the coming fiscal year
