A Summit for Government Agencies, Caregiver Organizations, Family Members, and Community Leaders

  • Join Massachusetts state agencies, providers and families to:
    • Learn about the Federal Lifespan Respite Law of 2006
    • Discuss models of collaborative respite provision
    • Develop plans for the building of a Statewide Respite Coalition

  • Guest Speaker: Jill Kagan, MPH, Project Director, ARCH National Respite Network and Resource Center

  • This is a WORKING meeting to:
    • Identify the needs of Massachusetts families for respite
    • Delineate barriers and solutions to statewide respite
    • Develop a mission statement and goals for a Statewide Respite Coalition
    • Establish Massachusetts' readiness to apply for federal Lifespan Respite Care funding in the coming fiscal year
