We believe that diverse perspectives generate great solutions! In order to gain these diverse perspectives we must engage in dialogue. This is the underpinning of our diversity training offered by the Office of Diversity and Equal Opportunity (ODEO), an important initiative mandated last year by Governor Patrick. 

Based on this mandate, the Executive Branch Agencies created action plans to undertake the training of all their employees on the Commonwealth’s diversity curriculum.

Sandra Borders, Director of ODEO stated, “We are quickly meeting the Governor’s challenge.  Since the start of this administration, we have trained 14,000 plus employees on the diversity curriculum. To coin a sports phrase, We are headed for the home stretch and our goal is within striking distance.”   (more about HR newsletter ... icon MS Word  )
