2006 - Present
The Office of the Inspector General has issued the following reports, letters, recommendations and reviews regarding M.G.L. c.40B, the low and moderate income housing law. Beginning in 2006, the Office began documenting widespread abuses of the cost certification process and made recommendations to reform the law and to implement practices to end vulnerabilities to fraud, waste and abuse.
