Mr. Cabral of New Bedford, Mr. Quinn of Dartmouth, Mr. Rushing of Boston, Ms. Gobi of Spencer, Mr. Canessa of New Bedford, Mr. Guyer of Dalton, Ms. Malia of Boston, Ms. Wolf of Cambridge and Mr. Patrick of Falmouth move that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 4000-1405, in line ___, by striking out the following: “and provided further, that any alien age 19 or older shall not receive benefits under this item if the alien has a sponsor, as defined in Federal law, whose income, as determined by the executive office, exceeds 200 per cent of the federal poverty level”

and inserting in place thereof the following: “and provided further, that monies from this item for health care services for said noncitizens may be expended as of the effective date of this act.”
