Representative Connolly of Everett moves that the bill be amended in line item 7007-0900 by adding at the end thereof the following:

$700,000 for the renovation of the Veterans Memorial Stadium in Everett to make the field friendly for residents of all ages.

The stadium is used by the Everett High School football team, Pope John XXIII High School for football games, two Pop Warner football teams, soccer and has been the site of Football bowl gave necessitating renting of bleachers.

The renovations to include new stands on the visitor side, the athletic building including locker room area, modernization with a zero maintenance field covering and the possible use as an outdoor skating rink.
