REPRESENTATIVE TORRISI of NORTH ANDOVER and REPRESENTATIVE RODRIGUES of WESTPORT move that the bill be amended in section 2, inserting new line item 7007-0210 and adding the following item:

“7007-0210- For the purposes of the Brownfields Redevelopment Fund established pursuant to section 29A of chapter 23G of the General Laws; provided however, that not more than $200,000 of this amount shall be used by the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency to study the need for and potential costs of allowing grants from the Brownfields Redevelopment Fund to be used for asbestos and lead paint abatement; and provided, further, that the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency shall provide a detailed written report of its findings following said study no later than June 30, 2007 to the joint committee on community development and small businesses………………………………………$30,000,000”
