REPRESENTATIVES MICHAEL COSTELLO of NEWBURYPORT and MICHAEL RODRIGUES of WESTPORT moves move that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 7003-0702, by adding the following:-

“provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for a contract with Kids and K9 Assist Inc. to provide a Puppies for Peace Program in conjunction with the School Districts of Boston, Lowell, Lawrence, Worchester, New Bedford, Springfield and Gloucester and other school districts as identified. To provide alternative therapy to at-risk youth that will promote violence prevention and healthy behaviors.”
