MS. REINSTEIN of REVERE moves that the bill be amended at the end by adding the following Section:

Section XX

Expanded program allotment, as defined in Chapter 70, Section 2 of the 2005 Annotated General Laws of Massachusetts is amended by striking the definition and inserting in place thereof the following definition:

"Expanded program allotment", the amount allotted within a district's foundation budget for providing expanded educational services for low-income students and further, for providing expanded educational services for students enrolled in English language learners programs established under chapter 71A. The expanded program allotment shall be determined by multiplying the number of low-income elementary and middle school students in a district by the wage adjustment factor by seven hundred and sixteen dollars plus multiplying the number of low income high school students in a district by two hundred dollars; and further, by multiplying enrolled in English language learners programs established under chapter 71A by two hundred dollars.
