REPRESENTATIVE FROST of Auburn moves that the bill be amended in section 2 by inserting, after item 7061-9804, the following item:--

“7061-9805; “For a program to update text books and materials in the Commonwealth, provided that the Department of Education shall spend no less than $25,000,000, to be distributed to each school district in the Commonwealth at not less than $25 per pupil; provided that, the funding shall be limited to educational expenditures for texts books, computers, lab equipment and other such learning materials and equipment as defined and approved by the Department of Education.” …………………………………………………………….$25,000,000
