Mr. Kocot of Northampton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7007-0334 by inserting the following:

“…provided, that $20,000 be expended for the Florence Civic and Business Association to investigate the feasibility of expanding hydroelectric, submerged turbine and other innovative “green technology” generating capacity at existing dams along the Mill River in the Florence and Leeds regions of the city of Northampton to provide supplemental funding for public education costs in said city…”
