Representatives Haddad of Somerset, Representative Koczera of New Bedford, Canessa of New Bedford, D’Amico of Seekonk, Aguiar of Fall River, and Quinn of Dartmouth move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7030-1003, by adding the following sentence: “provided further that $200,000 shall be expended for the Southcoast Mentoring Initiative for Learning, Education and Service, Inc. for dropout mentoring programs”; and in said item by striking out the figure “$3,540,000” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$3,740,000”.
