REPRESENTATIVE RUSH of BOSTON, Forry of Boston, Honan of Boston, Walsh of Boston, Wallace of Boston and O’Flaherty of Chelsea  move that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 8324-0000, by inserting after the words “the state fire marshal’s office,” the following: “the Boston Fire Department training academy,” and by inserting after the words “split days option” the following: “as well as the operations of the Boston Fire Department training academy,”, and by inserting after the words “Massachusetts firefighting academy” the following: “and the Boston Fire Department training academy”, and by inserting after the words “under section 4 of chapter 22D of the General Laws, shall be paid from this item;” the following: “provided further, that not less than $1,750,000 shall be provided for the Boston Fire Department training academy;” and in said item by striking out the figures “$13,430,452” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$15,180,452”.
