Mr. McCarthy of East Bridgewater moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7007-0900, in line 16, by inserting after “commonwealth” the following: “provided, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for repairs and improvements to the historic Whitman Town Hall”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$12,352,414” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$12,452,414”.
