Mr. O’Day of West Boylston, Mr. Scibak of South Hadley, Mr. Walsh of Boston, and Ms. L’Italien of Andover move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4110-1000, by adding the following: “provided that not less than $300,000 shall be expended to provide adaptive technology services for school-age children who are blind to ensure increased competence in the use of technological equipment and academic and professional development and self-sufficiency”; and in said item by striking out the figure “$1,176,189” and inserting in place there of the figure “$1,476,189”.
