Ms. Reinstein of Revere moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 8324-0000, in line 39, by inserting after “equipment and supplies” the following: “provided further that not less than $575,000 be expended for a Fire and Building Inspector Education and Training Program recommended through the 2004 report “Improving Fire Safety in the Commonwealth – A Leap Forward”; and in said item by striking out the figure $13,430,452” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$14,005,452”.
