Mr. Speranzo of Pittsfield moves that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 4100-0060, in line 71, by inserting after “2008;”, the following:

“provided, that the Commissioner shall report to the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing and the House and Senate Committees on Ways and Means on or before December 15, 2008, regarding the scope of work of the division and recommendations for assessments on entities other than acute care hospitals consistent with said scope of work;”
