Representatives Malia of Boston, Timilty of Milton, Gobi of Spencer, Story of Amherst, O’Day of West Boylston, Lantigua of Lawrence, Allen of Boston, Brownsberger of Belmont, Richardson of Framingham, Koutoujian of Waltham, Walz of Boston, Conroy of Wayland, Smizik of Brookline, Provost of Somerville, Toomey of Cambridge, Forry of Boston, Kaufman of Lexington, Sciortino of Medford, Rush of Boston, and Khan of Newton move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4513-1130, in line 4, by striking out the words “domestic violence services for legal immigrants and refugees” and inserting in place thereof the following: “provided further that not less than $900,000 shall be expended for sexual abuse, domestic violence, and human trafficking services for refugee and immigrant programs”, and in line 9 by striking out the figures “$3,866,677” and inserting in place thereof the figures $3,966,677”.
