REPRESENTATIVE FROST of Auburn moves that the bill be amended in section 2,

in item 7007-1101, by adding the following: “;provided the department of

public health shall expend an amount not less than $1,300,000 for a public

umbilical cord blood and placental tissue bank at the University of

Massachusetts Medical Center to process and distribute donations for the uses

of research and medical therapeutic purposes.”
