Ms. Peisch of Wellesley, Ms. Haddad of Somerset, Ms. Garry of Dracut, Ms. L’Italien of Andover, Mr. Rush of West Roxbury, Ms. Callahan of Sutton, Mr. Scibak of South Hadley, Ms. Poirier of North Attleborough, and Mr. Rodrigues of Westport move to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 4590-0250, by adding the following:

“provided further, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended for placement and maintenance of automated external defibrillators in school facilities that currently do not have such devices in quantities and types deemed by the department of education in consultation with the department of public health to be adequate to ensure ready and appropriate access for use during emergencies”;

and move to further amend the bill by deleting “$17,232,518” and replacing with “$17,482,518”.
