Mr. Naughton of Clinton and Mr. O’Day of West Boylston move that bill be amended in item 6000 – 0100 by adding at the end thereof the following “Provided further that not less than $2,300,000 shall be expended on the Paul X. Tivnan Drive located in the town of Boylston for the purpose of paving and resurfacing and to return to Mass Highway the responsibility for continued maintenance”; and in said item by striking out the figure “5,087,884” and inserting in place thereof the figure “$7,387,884”;

Messrs. Naughton and O'Day move to amend the amendment by striking out the text contained therein and inserting in place thereof the following:

"that bill be amended in item 6000 – 0100 by adding at the end thereof the following:—

; provided further that the responsibility for the continued and complete maintenance of the Paul X. Tivnan Drive located in the towns of Boylston and West Boylston be transferred to Mass Highway department"
