Mr. Pedone of Worcester and Mr. Alicea of Charlton move to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 0340-0401 the following item:

"0000-000  For the analyses of narcotic drug synthetic substitutes, poisons, drugs, medicines and chemicals at the University of Massachusetts medical school in order to support the law enforcement efforts of the district attorneys, the state police and municipal police departments...$450,000".
