Representative Turkington of Falmouth moves that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 8700-1140,  by striking out the figures “400,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$1,400,000 and that this item be amended by striking the words “not to exceed 400,000” and adding the words “not to exceed 1,400,000” and adding after the words “to defray such expenses, the words, “and provided that the division may accept and expend funds to support the personnel and operational costs associated with the operational costs of the newly formed Otis Fire District”
