Representatives Jones of North Reading, Rogeness of Longmeadow, Peterson of Grafton, Lepper of Attleboro, and deMacedo of Plymouth move that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 9600-0000 by inserting the following:- “provided further that not less than $200,000 shall be expended for the purchase of a roll call machine which operates through the use of smart card or fingerprint recognition technology”.
