Representatives Wallace, Walsh, and Rush of Boston, Puppolo of Springfield, McMurtry of Dedham, Kafka of Stoughton,  Grant of Beverly, and Callahan of Sutton,  move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7007-0900, in line 16, by inserting after the word “commonwealth” the following:

“… provided further, that not less than $1,250,000 of the amount appropriated  herein shall be expended for the Massachusetts Sports and Entertainment Commission, provided, however, that the Massachusetts Sports and Entertainment Commission shall provide not less than $800,000 for the operation and  administration of the Massachusetts Film Office which shall be the official and  lead agency to attract and facilitate motion picture production in the commonwealth, provided further, that not less than $450,000 shall be provided  for the Massachusetts Sports Partnership which shall be the official and lead  agency for the attraction and promotion of major sports events and  championships to the commonwealth “.
