Representative Golden, Murphy and Nangle of Lowell move that the bill be amended in Section 2, in line item 7100-0200 by adding the following – “provided further that the Office of the President is hereby abolished with its duties and responsibilities transferred to the Chancellors of the individual campuses.”  And by striking out the figure “$411,511,974” and inserting in its place thereof the figure “$373,511,974.”
