Mr. Fagan of Taunton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 8910-0003, in line 6, by striking out the following: “provided further, that 1 unit shall be located in Middlesex County to serve the needs of incarcerated persons in the care of Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, Essex, Nantucket, Middlesex, Norfolk, Plymouth, and Suffolk counties” and inserting in place thereof the following: “provided further, that there shall be a full service Forensic Evaluation Unit at Taunton State Hospital to serve the needs of incarcerated persons in the care of Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, Nantucket, and Plymouth counties; provided further, that 1 unit shall be located in Middlesex County to serve the needs of incarcerated persons in the care of Essex, Middlesex, Norfolk, and Suffolk counties”.
