In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the study of Ethanol '85'.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.

 

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Legislature shall establish a commission to study ethanol gasoline, also known as ‘E85’, and the feasibility of utilizing a portion of the Massachusetts gasoline tax to assist independent gasoline station owners in the installation of these pumps for use by the general public. Further, said commission shall also study the usage of ‘E85’ in all Commonwealth-owned vehicles.
