An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Janice Brown an employee of the appellate tax board.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1.  Whereas, the deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the appellate tax board, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.

Notwithstanding any general or special law, or rule or regulation to the contrary, the appellate tax board and the house of representatives shall establish a sick leave bank for Janice Brown, an employee of the appellate tax board and a former employee of the house of representatives. Any employee of said appellate tax board and said house of representatives may voluntarily contribute 1 or more sick, personal or vacation days to said sick leave bank for use by said Janice Brown.
