In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act providing for the abandonment of a portion of the Sudbury River aquaduct corridor located in the town of Wellesley for use by the Ten Acre Country Day School.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the deputy commissioner of the division of capital asset management is hereby authorized to abandon and grant to the Tenacre County Day School the fee interest in portions of the Sudbury River Aquaduct corridor no longer needed by the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority for the metropolitan water system.
The Sudbury River Aqueduct corridor was originally taken by eminent domain by the board of metropolitan sewerage commissioners.
The portions of the land to be excluded from the Sudbury River Aquaduct corridor and to be granted to the Tenacre Country Day School are located north of Benvenue Street in the Town of Wellesley, and are described as follows:
Those certain parcels of land shown as ABANDONED AREAS on a plan entitled [ ], which parcels are bounded and described as follows: [      ].
Parcel I containing, according to the plan, [      ] square feet, more or less; and parcel II, [  ] square feet, more or less.
