In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act to begin the process to establish a life care center at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance is hereby directed to conduct a study, including cost estimates, for feasibility of converting the so-called “Personnel” building at the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital into a Life Care Center for long-term elderly care. Such study shall be completed with findings and recommendations submitted to the Secretary of Administration and the House and Senate Committees on Ways and Means within six months of the effective date of this Act.
