An Act relative to the amount of money allowed for burial expenses. |
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2 of chapter 118 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2000 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out in line 29 the words “eleven hundred” and inserting in place thereof the following:— sixteen hundred and fifty.
SECTION 2. Said section 2 of said chapter 118, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out in line 31 the words:— “fifteen hundred” and inserting in place thereof the following:— twenty-two hundred and fifty.
SECTION 3. Section 7 of chapter 118A of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out in line 6 the words “eleven hundred” and inserting in place thereof the following:— sixteen hundred and fifty.
SECTION 4. Said section 7 of said chapter 118A, as so appearing, is hereby further amended by striking out in line 8 the words “fifteen hundred” and inserting in place thereof the following:— twenty-two hundred and fifty.
