An Act relative to Child Abuse Reporting by Social Workers in Certain Administrative and Legal Proceedings.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 135A of Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after “patient participation” in line 72 the following:—
(j) in a proceeding involving abuse of a child under the age of 18.

SECTION 2. Section 135B of Chapter 112 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after “patient participation” in line 65 the following:—
(j) in a proceeding involving abuse of a child under the age of 18.
