 An Act relative to minor children.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1.  Chapter 119 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after section 23B the following new section:—
Section 23C. The Department of Social Services in consultation with local law enforcement agencies shall establish and from time to time review a policy to be followed by law enforcement officers to provide for the immediate protection, care and custody of the minor children of a person arrested or placed in custody.
