An Act relative to the Department of Social Services.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

SECTION 1. Section 21 of Chapter 18B of the General Laws shall be amended by inserting after the words “the adoptive parents” the following:

The department shall include within its financial responsibilities as set forth in this section, an annual adjustment in adoption subsidies to the level recommended by the United States Department of Agriculture.
