In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the daily living needs of foster children.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Chapter 119 of the General Laws is hereby amended in Section 23 by at the end thereof the following new paragraph:

 

I.    The department shall include within its financial responsibilities as set forth in this section, an annual adjustment in daily rates paid to foster care, adoptive and guardianship families to the level recommended by the United States Department of Agriculture.
