 An Act relative to discharge from the Massachuetts hospital school.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Section 62M of chapter 111 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “school” in line 7, the following words:–   ;provided however, that no discharge shall occur before a full and fairing hearing in which the child and his parent(s) or legal guardian(s) are present and have received written notice at least 7 days prior to the date of the hearing.
