An Act requiring expiration dates on packaged food.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

   Section 181 of chapter 94 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the second paragraph the following paragraph:-
    All packaged foods and commodities subject to this section shall be plainly and conspicuously marked with an expiration date.
