In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the sale of fruits and vegetables.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

   SECTION 1. Chapter 94 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2000 edition is hereby amended by inserting after section 99B the following section:—

Section 99C. No person shall sell or offer for sale or pack for sale or distribution in the commonwealth fruit or vegetables unless the name of the country in which such fruit or vegetables were grown appears in easily readable form.

 

   SECTION 2. No requirements of this Act shall apply to farm stands and roadside stands.
