In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act to protect small businesses. .

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Section 123 of Chapter 140 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2002 Official Edition, is hereby further amended by inserting in clause fifteenth the following sentence:— Said place of business may be in a room, garage or basement attached to a home or residence, if said room, garage or basement is maintained for the sole purpose of the licensee’s business, and if said business is in compliance with local zoning laws, or any premises in compliance with regulations established by the federal bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, pursuant to Title 18, U.S.C. section 923.
