In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to golf courses.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Section 12 of said chapter 138, of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out in lines 25 to 29 the following sentence. “Such sales maybe made by a restaurant licensee at such stands or locations in a sports arena, stadium, ballpark, race track, auditorium or in any on building at an airport as the local licensing authority may deem reasonable and proper, and approve in writing.” And inserting in place thereof the following sentences: “Such sales maybe made by a restaurant licensee at such stands or locations in a sports arena, stadium, ballpark, race track, golf course, auditorium or in any on building at an airport as the local licensing authority may deem reasonable and proper, and approve in writing.  A local licensing authority may grant a restaurant license at a golf course, notwithstanding any general law or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, to authorize the sales of alcoholic beverages or wine and or malt at any location on the grounds of said golf course.”
