In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act to allow alcohol sales on golf courses.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the definition of “licensed establishment” in any city or town that has a golf course may upon request of the license holder at the club house facility and at the option of the city or town’s licensing authority include a mobile cart or a stationary site or both along the tees, fairways and greens of the golf course. Any licensee under this section must comply with all other licensing laws, rules and regulations concerning the sale of alcoholic beverages and the training of employees.  Nothing in this section shall prevent the licensing authority for such city or town from charging an additional fee for issuance of any such license.

 

SECTION 2. This act shall go into effect upon its passage.
