In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 An Act relative to the Information Technology Advisory Board.

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

SECTION 1. The first paragraph of section 390 of chapter 149 of the acts of 2004 is hereby amended by striking out the second sentence and inserting in place thereof the following sentence:— The advisory board shall consist of 11 members including: the executive department’s chief information officer; the chief information officer for the appellate courts; chief information officer of the trial court; the treasurer or his designee; the attorney general or his designee; the secretary of the commonwealth or his designee; the auditor or his designee; 1 member appointed by the president of the senate; 1 member appointed by the speaker of the house; and 2 members appointed by the governor for terms of 1 year each, 1 of whom shall have expert knowledge in the area of information technology, 1 of whom shall represent the interests of business and the other interests of the consumers.
