 An Act relative to slot machines

 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:


 

Section 5A of chapter 271 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

 

Notwithstanding the foregoing, slot machines shall be permitted in place of entertainment within a 10 mile radius of a race track with a liquor license and a capacity of 500 persons upon approval of the local licensing authority.
