Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Section 1. Section 15 of chapter 6 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2004 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection
ZZZZ. The governor shall annually issue a proclamation setting apart the third week in April as Youth Awareness Week to inform and educate youths on the benefit and operation of government, public service institutions and the electoral process. Appropriate state agencies and cities and towns shall establish programs designed to educate and promote these objectives.
