In the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any general or special law or rule or regulation to the contrary, all school districts in the Commonwealth shall designate a period of no less than twenty minutes for students in elementary schools for the purpose of outdoor and/or physical activity. Said activity shall be required in addition to physical education courses established in existing Department of Education curricula.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
